My names Ellen and I am the owner of The Guiding Raven Wellness
I began my career in makeup and esthetics in 2005 in Halifax, Nova Scotia. After completing my training, I relocated to Calgary and practiced esthetics for a decade. This experience led to an opportunity to teach esthetics in Calgary, earning me the title of Master Esthetic Instructor.
Throughout my career, I have enjoyed all aspects of esthetics, but my true passion lies in brows and lashes. I love how a well-executed brow wax, tint, lash lift, and lash tint can make someone's eyes truly stand out. To me, the eyes are like a beautiful picture on a wall: without proper framing, the picture blends into the wall, but when framed correctly, it captures attention and truly pops.

My names Ellen and I am the owner of The Guiding Raven Wellness
After several years in esthetics, I decided to pursue my dream of becoming a Massage Therapist. I chose to return to Halifax, NS, to study and be close to family. I enrolled in the Canadian College of Massage and Hydrotherapy, completing a 2200-hour accelerated program. After finishing my studies, I moved to Canmore—the mountains were calling. After a year of living in the Bow Valley, I relocated to Calgary. Here I had the privilege of working in a clinical setting with chiropractors, massaging at mountain bike races, and working in heli-skiing and cat-skiing lodges. These experiences allowed me to gain a wealth of knowledge and experience.
My passion for personal development stems from my own journey. In recent years, I have explored working with spirit as a developing Medium. Combining my mediumship skills with life and mindset coaching, along with quantum energy training, has allowed me to deepen my awareness and enhance my ability to connect with clients both on and off the massage table.
